Parent input for the 26-27 school year
We realize the placement of students into classrooms is very important, which is why we put in a great amount of time and consideration into creating the class lists. Our objective is to create well-balanced groups of learners that will enable the maximum growth of each child, both academically and socially.
Our teachers, guidance/mental health team, intervention team, related arts staff, and other support staff work with administrators in order to collaborate to form next year’s classes. The academic and social/emotional needs of each child will be considered.
We value parent input and invite you to complete this form. If you would like to share information about your child regarding learning needs and the kind of classroom environment that will support his/her success, please complete the following Parent Input Form. This form is OPTIONAL, and not completing it will not affect your child’s placement. In order to help us select the best placement for your child, we ask that you honor the following requests:
- We cannot honor parent requests for a specific teacher due to the complexity of classroom placement procedures so we ask that you do not request teachers and instead focus on the strengths/needs of your child. Please refrain from requesting a teacher for next school year with your child’s current teacher. This places them in an uncomfortable situation.
- Please remain focused on the individual learning needs of your child (refrain from using the names of other students). If you would like to discuss separating your child from a specific student, please do so by contacting Mrs. Wilcox or Mrs.Orem via email.
If you would like to submit a response for your child, please complete this form by Friday, April 10th at 4:00 PM. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding!

Kindergarten Registration and GRE Kindergarten Info Night
Kindergarten registration for Dublin City Schools is open for families planning to enroll a child in kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year. For Dublin City Schools, the first day of school for the 2026–2027 school year is August 20, 2026. Children who turn five on or before that date are eligible to begin kindergarten.
How to Register
Families can complete kindergarten registration online through the Dublin City Schools enrollment website. Families are encouraged to thoroughly review the enrollment information on that page before beginning the process. Enrollment is completed online, and families should allow plenty of time for the Enrollment Office to process applications. The closer registration occurs to the start of the school year, the longer the processing times may be.
To enroll in Dublin City Schools, families must be district residents.
For currently-enrolled Dublin City Schools Preschool students: Families will receive direct communication with next steps and important information related to kindergarten registration for the 2026–2027 school year. Families are asked to wait for these instructions before taking action.
Kindergarten Information Nights- Save the Date!
Glacier Ridge will host a Kindergarten Information Night on April 30, 2026 from 6:00-7:00 PM. During this event, we will share details about preparing for kindergarten, what families can expect during the school year, opportunities for involvement, and additional building-specific information.
