We want you to help us celebrate individual Fuller Elementary School staff members who have provided you and/or your student with an exceptional experience. We believe the best gift teachers can receive are the words of affirmation and confirmation from you, the community members we serve. This is called the Fuller Five. If you would like to share how a Fuller staff member has exceeded your expectations, please use this FULLER FIVE form to give us a glimpse into your experience. We will spotlight these wonderful educators on your behalf here on campus.

Give a Fuller Five!

This week, we are proud to recognize Kimber Sanchez, one of our incredible paraprofessionals who truly embodies the spirit of the Fuller Family. Kimber is always willing to jump in and help wherever she is needed, at any time, with a positive attitude and a heart for service. Her flexibility and dependability make her an invaluable support across our campus.

Kimber has a special gift for connecting with some of our most challenging students. She approaches every interaction with calmness, patience, and understanding, always keeping the needs of students at the forefront of her decisions. Her ability to build trust and create meaningful relationships has a lasting impact on the students she serves.

In addition to her work with students, Kimber is a strong support for teachers and administrators alike. She is a true team player who contributes to a positive, collaborative environment and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure success for everyone around her.

Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance. Per TEA, ADA time is 9:00AM, any student that arrives after 9:00AM, will be counted absent for the entire day of school. Tardy period is from 7:35-8:59AM.

A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.

In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.

For attendance questions:
PEIMS Clerk: Shea Harrison sharrison@aubreyisd.net

Attendance Administrator: Anverly Laster alaster@aubreyisd.net
