A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Hello Montessori Families!
Our 3rd through 8th grade students got a strong start on Forward Testing this week. Parents - please note they have one more week of testing. Please continue to send your child well rested with a good breakfast! Results from the Forward test should be shared with families over the summer.
One of our top priorities is student safety. If you are visiting school between 11am and 12:30pm, please do not drive into the parking lot area by the school. Students are outside for recess and we want to keep them safe! Thank you!
We kicked off our largest PTSA fundraiser this week - The Great WMS Donut Drive! Please check your child's backpack for details and see below!
Have a great weekend!

AP Students Learn about the Human Body Systems
ATTENTION:
Milwaukee Public Museum asked AP to create a ‘Human Body Exhibit’ to showcase this summer! *Not true. Make believe!
YOUR TASK: You and your team will be assigned one of the body systems. After extensive research on this body system, you will then prepare to teach the rest of the class about this system and then create the associated organs that belong to your body system.
Learning targets:
Explain how body systems maintain homeostasis.
Analyze how different body systems work together to support life.
Communicate complex biological concepts to others.
Apply scientific research and experimental design skills.
Collaborate effectively to create a public-facing scientific exhibit worthy of the Milwaukee Public Museum.
