May Weekly update ~ May 23, 2025
We are in the last stretch of the Race for 2024-2025!!!
Summer is near...
A note from Mr. Lee
Dear Carter Families,
It’s hard to believe we are entering the final three weeks of the school year! As we approach the finish line, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership throughout this school year. The growth we’ve seen—in academics, character, and school spirit—has been nothing short of inspiring.
This time of year brings a mix of excitement and reflection. Students are eagerly anticipating summer break, but we are also reminding them that the year isn’t over yet. These final weeks matter. They’re filled with opportunities to demonstrate learning, finish strong, and create lasting memories. Whether it’s final projects, classroom celebrations, or end-of-year field trips, our students are engaged right up to the final bell.
At home, you can help keep the momentum going by:
Encouraging consistent attendance and on-time arrivals
Checking in on any outstanding assignments or upcoming deadlines
Talking with your child about their goals for the final weeks
We also look forward to honoring our students’ hard work and achievements during upcoming ceremonies and celebrations. Please keep an eye on your email and our school website for event dates and important updates.
Thank you for being such an essential part of the Carter community. Let’s finish the year strong—together!
Mr. Lee
Special Remarks from Mr. Syswerda
