Benny Bengal's News Brief

For our last PTA newsletter of the school year, I want to again say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year a great one! Our teachers, sponsors, volunteers, and members - YOU did it! Scroll down for our year in review.

We have two PTA officers who are wrapping up their two-year terms -- Thank you to Secretary Juli Richards and VP of Hospitality Thanh Paige Ngo. You've done an amazing job serving Boggess! I'm so lucky to have worked alongside you this year.

Join us this Friday for our last Spirit Night fundraiser at Ninja Nation. We are raising money to start the 2023-2024 school year strong.

Avoid the hassle of shopping for school supplies next year. You can now order school supply kits for the 2023-24 school year! Your child's school supply pack will be waiting for them in their classroom before the first day of school.

1. Go to www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks

2. Enter the school ID - BOG007 (3 letters/3 numbers)
3. Follow the directions to complete your order. Make sure to select your child's grade for NEXT YEAR!
4. Keep your online confirmation as your receipt.

We will NOT be ordering extra kits so order now!

DEADLINE TO ORDER: May 23 - Prices will increase $10 after this date.

In order to help campus staff appropriately and schedule classes for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, families are asked to complete an Intent to Return form online. Please complete the form as soon as possible since planning for the upcoming school year is already underway. If your family does not plan to return, families are asked to notify us as well since that information also helps with planning.

Thank you for your assistance in helping schools with planning for the upcoming school year. If you have any questions regarding the Intent to Return Form, please contact Karina Trotter, Director of Welcome & Enrollment Center.

Benny wants to give a big tiger hug to Amy Mitchell and Tuan Nguyen who helped assemble the Earth Day kits that each student received. They made over 500 flower cups, and Amy donated soil for the kits. Thank you!

And if your kiddo had a BLAST at our water Field Day, say thank you to Shannon Cox who led this event. She put in many hours of planning and brought back a Bengal favorite with the water fun this year. We also want to thank all of our Field Day volunteers for showing up and making it possible. You're the best!

Master Choi's platinum sponsorship supported many of our PTA programs and events this school year. Students absolutely loved having Master Choi at Field Day this year running the taekwondo station! Master Choi's World Class Taekwondo offers classes for ages 5 and up, adults, and families. They are committed to teaching the highest quality martial arts in an atmosphere of positive energy and respect.

Check out their class schedule to keep your kids active and learning all summer!

The summer months are peak moving season, and if you're considering a move this summer, you need the best realtor on your side. Thanh Paige Ngo served as our Boggess PTA Vice President of Hospitality this year, and she's a realtor with a passion for helping people find a place they can call home. She is part of the AK Realty team.

If you are looking for the perfect place to make your next memories, reach out to Thanh Paige Ngo Real Estate at Paige@AKRealtyTeam.net.

Boggess PTA is lucky to have such strong support from our parents, teachers, and community. All of the programs below were made possible by your membership, your Spirit Night purchases, and the hours and hours dedicated by our amazing volunteers.
