Summer School Dates are set! June 22-July 20

Los Angeles Unified provides students with core academic support, opportunities to enhance their mastery of academic subjects for college readiness, and enrichment courses designed to engage and motivate students in learning through self-selected courses of interest. Our robust summer school programs will not only give students the opportunity to have structured social interactions, but access to expanded paid internship opportunities as they continue to imagine the possibilities and prepare to be Ready for the World.

The LAUSD Food Service Division (FSD) operates an extensive "Summer Community Base" meal program, serving roughly 240,000 meals daily offering breakfast and lunch to children who are 18 years of age and under in our local communities. Additionally, we support Beyond the Bell Division enrichment, and recreation programs with supper meals. For additional information, click Free Breakfast and Lunch.

Student registration will open April 9, 2026. More details to follow.

Beyond the Bell Summer Program - Not Summer School at OVMS

Olive Vista will not host summer school on our campus this year, but we will have a program for students to be active and supervised throughout the day through the Beyond The Bell Program with our partners LACC that currently run our after school program.

Olive Vista will not host summer school on our campus this year, BUT, we will have a program for students to be active and supervised throughout the day. The Beyond the Bell summer program will run from June 22 through July 24, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The program will offer a variety of clubs and activities similar to those provided in the after school program during the regular school year. Club offerings may vary depending on student attendance, participation, and interests.

Breakfast, lunch, and supper will be provided daily for all students participating in the program. The program will provide a safe and fun environment where students can socialize with other students, have fun and be supervised during the time families are at work.
