Bea Underwood Family Newsletter
September 2026
Dear BUE Families,
We have had a wonderful start to the school year! Our students are settling into routines, building friendships, and getting busy with learning. It has been exciting to see our students grow more confident and independent each day.
September is an important month as we continue to build strong classroom communities and establish the learning habits that will carry us throughout the year. Our teachers are working hard to provide meaningful, grade-level instruction while supporting each student’s individual needs.
A Few Things to Remember
- Attendance matters! Every day at school is an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. Please help your child arrive on time and ready to learn.
- Read every day! Encourage your child to read at home and talk about what they are reading.
- Practice math! A few minutes of math facts, problem-solving, or talking about math in everyday life can make a big difference.
- Stay connected! Please check backpacks, email, and school communication regularly for important information and upcoming events, Wednesday Folders are sent home weekly.
- Ask your child about school! Questions like “What did you learn today?” or “What was challenging today?” can lead to great conversations.
Thank you for partnering with us as we work together to help every student reach their potential. When school and families work as a team, our students thrive!
We are looking forward to a fantastic September filled with learning, growth, and lots of Cardinal pride! Together, we are unlocking the potential of every Cardinal!

EVERYday Counts and We Need You at School!!
One of the most important ways families can support student success is through consistent school attendance. When students are at school each day, they have more opportunities to learn, practice new skills, receive support, and be part of our classroom community.
Every day counts—and every Cardinal counts, too!
Thank you for partnering with us to make attendance, learning, and growth a priority. Together, we will continue to make this a year filled with growth, discovery, and Cardinal pride!
