Subject: Share Your Thoughts: Wilder School’s Transition to NARA Subject: Share Your Thoughts: Wilder School’s Transition to NARA

Dear Wilder School Community,

We’re The Designasaurs, a student design team at Dartmouth College, and we’re so excited to be working with The Wilder School to support its transition from the Behavior Modification Approach (BMA) to a Neuro-Affirming/Relational Approach (NARA)!

We’d love to hear from parents, guardians, teachers, and staff about your familiarity with this shift, whether you’ve received any information, and what kinds of resources would be most helpful in supporting students.

We’ve created two easy ways for you to share your thoughts:

Anonymous Survey for Parents & Guardians (Less than 5 minutes!)
We’d love your input on what’s working, what’s missing, and what would help you better understand NARA. Your responses are completely anonymous!

Sign Up for an Interview or Group Discussion!
If you're open to sharing more, we’re hosting one-on-one interviews and small group discussions with parents, teachers, and staff. Joining either is a great way to help shape how NARA is communicated and put into practice.

Your feedback will help make sure everyone at The Wilder School has the support and information they need during this transition. Thank you for sharing your thoughts—we truly appreciate it!

Best,
The Designasaurs

Vermont Governor's Education Transformation Plan Vermont Governor's Education Transformation Plan

The unedited version of the plan in bill form is 176 pages long. The best way to read it if you are interested is click on this link. This is the plan that the Administration has been discussing since the beginning of the legislative session. In the bill, there are many more details. We will keep you posted on developments, but I thought it would be appropriate for everyone to have a copy should you desire to read the entire bill.
