Message from Mrs. Jones
Hello, Fallbrook Families,
I arm incredibly proud of the many ways our students have been active and engaged throughout our local community in recent weeks. From the recent Christmas parade, where our students showcased their spirit and creativity, to countless volunteer efforts at community events, our students are truly making their mark beyond our campus walls. This past Friday, our campus also had the opportunity to experience ASB's Winter Pep Rally. The energy, creativity, and school spirit on display were absolutely outstanding. A huge thank you to our students for their hard work in creating such a memorable event that brought our entire school together.
As we celebrate these accomplishments, we also ask for your assistance and partnership regarding an important aspect of student success: punctuality. Arriving on time, both at the start of the school day and to each class throughout the day, has a significant impact on learning. When students arrive late, they miss critical instruction, disrupt the learning environment for others, and often struggle to catch up on what they've missed. Beyond academics, punctuality teaches responsibility, respect for others' time, and prepares students for future workplace expectations.
We recognize that mornings can be hectic and that schedules don't always go as planned. However, we've noticed an increase in tardiness recently, and we need your help in reinforcing the importance of being on time. Please talk with your student about:
- Planning their morning routine to allow adequate time for preparation and travel
- Setting alarms and backup alarms to ensure they wake up on time
- Moving efficiently between classes during passing periods
- Understanding that being on time shows respect for their teachers and peers
Together, we can help our students develop habits that will serve them well throughout their lives. When students are present and punctual, they're better positioned to take full advantage of every learning opportunity we provide.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your student's education. We look forward to celebrating more community connections and academic achievements in the months ahead!
As always, if there is anything you need, please feel free to reach out by telephone at (760) 723-6300 x3102, x3110, or x3103, or by email through our website. As a reminder, our office hours are 7:30am-4pm; outside of these times families are welcome to leave a message for a return call on the next school day.
Let's make this a great week, Warriors!
