Dear Families,

We did it! We SURPASSED our fundraising goal by raising $24,000 with your support of the Fun Run. Students had a great time running in their neon shirts and enjoyed the picnic lunch afterward. THANK YOU to our T-shirt sponsors, volunteers and parent cheerleaders. We appreciate everyone's hard work in raising funds for our PTO to use to support students and teachers in the coming year.

The end of the quarter is quickly approaching, which means it's almost time for parent-teacher conferences. See your child's Friday Folder for directions to sign up via ParentVue by Wednesday, Oct. 7th. You can also contact the office at 402-715-8360 for assistance. We look forward to seeing you on the evening of October 12th & 13th.

It's time to schedule your fall Parent-Teacher Conferences! The sign-up window will open on Monday, September 28th and will close on Wednesday, October 7th.

Conference Dates:

On behalf of the PTO, we are asking for parents to donate paper products, desserts, snacks, pop and water for parent teacher conferences. The conferences will be held on Monday, October 12th and Tuesday, October 13th. Donations can be dropped off anytime to the school office and no later than 3:00 pm on Friday, October 9th.

Desserts for Monday and Tuesday can be dropped off on the day you have signed up for.

During the month of October, our classroom counseling lessons in grades K-5 will focus on skills of resiliency, coping skills and how to get help for oneself and/or a friend. These lessons are intended to educate students on feelings of stress, worry, sadness, how to cope with such feelings, and how to ask for help if needed. Students will identify coping strategies and trusted adults at school and outside of school to whom they can go for help. Please talk with your child about these feelings, and reinforce appropriate coping strategies such as talking with a trusted adult, exercising, or doing an activity they enjoy. Calling all Shield Shop Volunteers. We need your help on Wednesdays and would love to have volunteers come in and help at the tables by assisting the students while they Shield Shop. If you are able to volunteer, click the Sign Up Genius link below.
