We labored through the first four weeks of school, so how fitting that we get to celebrate Labor Day with No School on Monday! Thank you to our staff and students for all of the hard work, effort, and energy you have put into the school year so far. We have made it through the first four weeks, and now comes the hard part, continuing that effort and making sure we accomplish all of our goals for the year.

September 18th is quickly approaching, and that date is important because it will be our first UIL Grade Gain or Lose. Please take some time to check Skyward, make sure you are passing all of your classes, and ensure you have no missing assignments. A little attention now can make a big difference later.

Most importantly, enjoy your time away from school! Work hard, play hard. Take some time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the long weekend with family and friends. Then, come back ready to give maximum effort as we push toward fall break.

Student must wear their ID's every day. They are required to ride the bus. Replacement Student IDs cost $5.

As part of enhanced safety at campuses, all Pflugerville ISD campuses do not accept deliveries from meal delivery services or restaurants for student lunches. Parents may still bring outside food for their children if they plan to deliver the meals directly to office. All guests are required to follow existing safety protocols and check in with ID at the front office.

Ms. Harris joined Hawk Nation this summer and has fit right in from day one. She serves students with last names A–C and has quickly become a valuable resource for our campus. She genuinely enjoys helping students and has already played an important role in helping resolve student conflicts on campus.

Thank you, Ms. Harris, for working hard, jumping in wherever you are needed, and taking on every challenge with such a positive attitude. We are lucky to have you as part of Hawk Nation!

Underclass School Pictures

Individual Pictures for Underclassmen will be September 16 & 17 through English classes. Pre-order forms will be sent home next week.

Senior Pictures

To be included in the yearbook, seniors must be photographed by Cady Photography no later than December 18. Students can take portraits either at the Cady Studio or on campus on select days. The first day they will be on campus for seniors is October 7. Regardless of where the photo is taken, you must set up an appointment on the Cady.com website. Sessions range in price from the free yearbook only to higher priced packages with more outfit changes and backgrounds options.

The yearbook portrait will be an outfit of choice, but the studio will also take a cap and gown photo, even at the free session

Please note this is a non-school sponsored trip.

Students must provide completed permit agreement, valid drivers’ license, proof of insurance, and $25 annual fee (paid by cash or check). Permit should be affixed on the front windshield, inside lower right-hand corner and must be in original, purchased condition. Students may park ONLY in the general student parking lots (A, B & C) located on the southwest part of the property as well as the lots located near the athletic Fieldhouse and tennis courts.
