BSC Weekly Newsletter
Week of Nov 1
We hope all of our Balboa families enjoyed a safe and spooktacular Halloween! We also hope you remembered to turn your clocks back as we welcomed the return of daylight saving time. As we head into November, cooler temperatures and shorter days are upon us, along with parent-teacher conferences, minimum days, and a shorter three-week instructional month. It’s shaping up to be a busy month, so be sure to stay connected and keep an eye out for important school updates!
Thank you to Room Parent Nona for creating this helpful November calendar!

There are many ways to volunteer and help at Balboa. On campus volunteers must be cleared and approved by the district. Please complete a Volunteer Application at https://volunteerapp.lausd.net to get the process started.
All volunteers, new and returning, must complete an application each year (for each school). Please contact our Community Representative, Ms. Julie Shon, at julie.shon@lausd.net, should you need any assistance.
Thank you for supporting our school!
