The Heritage 6th Grade Leadership team is pleased to share two additional Wish Week fundraising opportunities with our community. Mountain Vista partners with Be A Good Person brand to create and sell shirts to be worn during Wish Week, which are a huge hit in our community! The proceeds from shirt sales directly support Vista’s fundraising efforts, and fosters some friendly competition between the elementary schools to see which school sells the most!
Don't miss out! The deadline to order these popular shirts is TOMORROW January 17th!

Drama club presents: Willy Wonka Jr.
Calling all 3rd-6th graders!
We are looking for a spectacular cast for Heritage Elementary’s production of Willy Wonka Jr.! It's time to officially sign up to be a part of the production. The first rehearsal will take place Wednesday, January 15th 3:30-5pm. Everyone that wants to be part of the show should be at the rehearsal. We will start learning music and talk about auditions. Sign up will be through MySchoolBucks and the cost will be approximately $45.00. Willy Wonka Jr. has many different roles, each one is important to the story of Willy Wonka. Read about each role HERE to see what character you might be interested in. You can also listen to the music of the show HERE.
Please pick up an audition packet outside of the music room. Auditions will need to be sent in by video this year. They will be due Tuesday, January 21st.
For auditions, if you would like to be considered for Willy Wonka or Charlie it is recommended that you prepare “The Candy Man” from the musical. These roles can be played by a male or female. Music is outside the music room.
If you do not want to be Willy Wonka or Charlie please prepare a 1-2 minute song of your choice.
We are looking for students with stage presence and confidence, a projecting speaking and singing voice, sassy or witty character presence.
There are always bonus points for showcasing any dance moves (choreographed or improvised).
