Charger Report
June 2026
Thank you for a great school year! Have a wonderful summer!
Message from Mrs. Mileto, Assistant Principal
Dear Middle School Families,
As we close another successful school year, I want to extend my sincere gratitude for your partnership, support, and dedication throughout the year.
Middle school is a time of tremendous growth, and I have been fortunate to witness our students achieve so much both academically and artistically. From outstanding classroom accomplishments and academic milestones to memorable performances, creative projects, and extracurricular successes, our students have demonstrated resilience, curiosity, talent, and determination.
None of these achievements would be possible without the encouragement and support you provide at home. Your involvement, communication, and commitment to your child's education help create the foundation for their success.
I have been so incredibly lucky to be a part of your child's story, and although I will not be present next year, they will forever be in my heart and in the capable hands of Mr. Taylor and next year's student support coordinator, Mrs. Angela Foley. Together they will continue the exemplary legacy that Peacock and District 10 has built.
Thank you for sharing your children with me and allowing me to be a part of their story!
With appreciation,
Samantha Mileto
Congratulations to our 2026 eighth grade class!

This is a separate document from a typical wellness physical. Summer is a great time to have this completed! Print the document below for your physician.
iReady Summer Lessons
All Peacock students have access to individual and personalized math and reading lessons through iReady. Through this platform, students will follow an individual learning path that provides interactive lessons on specific academic skills. Grade level teachers Have taught students how to use this program. Students are welcomed and encouraged to complete these lessons outside of school as well!
Students can login with their school username and password at https://login.i-ready.com/. More information on how you can support the learning process is linked below.

Friendly reminder all Peacock students are required to complete community service hours. Students will have a requirement of 6 total service hours for the school year. Summer and school breaks are a great time to start completing these hours! 8th grade students must complete a total of 18 community service hours to graduate.
