Big thanks to Janey who has offered to come as Mrs. Claus and Mrs. Joni and the Coffee Hour Kings and Queens who are volunteering in the kitchen. Lots of love and gratitude also go out to Sue K for her cookies, Liz D for her potatoes, Amy L for the donuts, Shay and Ross for the sausages, and all the other helper elves that I'll mention by name in the next newsletter!
These fun events are possible because folks like you step up to help and bring the magic!
Get a glimpse of what you can expect on Saturday, December 20th from 9-11 by watching this video? What to play "I Spy" while you watch it? See if you can spot Mrs. Sunday and Mr. David. Children's Choir: Rehearsal at 9AM and Recital at 10:30AM this Sunday
Letter from Children's Choir Director: Melissa Meghdadi
Dear Parents,
Working with your children has been a true privilege, and I’m delighted for you to hear the music they’ve been preparing. Their dedication, creativity, and spirit have made this a meaningful experience for all of us.
To support their continued growth, I am providing audio recordings for at-home practice. These recordings will help reinforce what we’ve been working on in rehearsal and will give them an opportunity to share their progress with you.
The children will sing during the worship service on Sunday, December 21st between 10:30 and 11:30. Kids are encouraged to wear red and green. Parents, friends, and family are all invited to attend. The worship service will also include Christmas music performed by teens in our youth program. It's sure to be a meaningful and memorable service!
Respectfully,
Melissa Meghdadi

Ways to Get Involved and Help Others
UUFH is partnering with Interfaith Assistance Ministries (IAM), to get food, clothing, blankets, and personal hygiene items to those who need them.
If you are in a position to give, you are strongly encouraged to bring your food, warm clothing, and hygiene donations to UUFH or take them to IAM directly and get a receipt for the UUFH office. Keeping track of receipts is helpful for writing grants and internal bookkeeping.
Donors have options. You can drop off donations at the UU office across the street from the sanctuary Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday between 10-2PM or you can drop off the donations into the donation wagon in the foyer on Sunday mornings immediately before or immediately after the service.
Food Drives
Food donations are still very much needed. Thanks for bringing donations to UUFH and for volunteering to drive donations to IAM!

Clothing Drive
Warm Clothing Donation Drive These items are needed right away.
Note: There's a clothing donation bin in the UUFH foyer and another set up in the Fellowship Hall. Clothing donations are accepted at the same times as the food donations: M,T, TH from 10-2 and Sunday mornings 9-11:30 or so.
Bedding and Toiletries Drives
Everyone deserves to be warm and feel safe! Your donations make a difference. Click here for a list of bedding and personal hygiene items needed at IAM. These donations can be placed with the food donations to go to IAM.
Volunteers Are Needed
