LSAT Elections

Elections for the LSAT (Local School Advisory Team) will take place at the same time as the PTA executive board elections. The LSAT is a group of parents, teachers and staff at each DCPS school who advise the principal on topics like the school's academic performance, curriculum, budget and more. The Ross LSAT meets monthly, currently alternating between in-person morning meetings and virtual afternoon meetings. Four parent members will be elected for the 2024-25 school year. Any Ross parent is welcome to run for a position on the LSAT. For more information contact LSAT chair David Alpert at alpert@gmail.com.

ISO: Ross Parent to Coordinate Participation in Capital Pride Parade

The PTA is in search of a Ross parent or parents to coordinate Ross family and staff participation in the Capital Pride Parade. Each year, Ross marches in the parade with the DCPS group. Organizing doesn't take a lot of time--and this is often one of the highlights on the Ross calendar. Contact PTApresident@rosselementary.org if you're interested in volunteering.
