Message from the Assistant Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I feel love in the air, or maybe those are germs....(wash your hands kids, there is so much sickness going around).

I can't believe we are already to the middle of February. Don't forget we have a Valentines Dance on Thursday, the 13th from 5:30-7:00. Remind your students that this is a dress-up dance, so leave those t-shirts and holy jeans at home!

Candy grams! What's a candy gram? I want one!! (points if you know what movie that comes from!)

Our librarian will be selling candy grams this week. See the flyer below for more details. Maybe hand your kids some extra change this week and tell them to send a valentine to a friend, or someone that needs some cheering up!

#2: 😎 Great Moments from the Week

So many fun things happened this week!! Our teachers had some secret dress days going on. It was fun to see the reaction of the students as they tried to figure out what was going on.

Our penny wars are holding up to their names. It was fun to see the students try to protect their jars from the other grades putting in quarters (remember, quarters will deduct from the total). Unfortunately, a 7th grader didn't realize that detail until she had deposited her haul of quarters into the 7th grade bucket. 😔. It will be fun to see which grade wins!

Our East and West combined choir at the Pops concert. If you didn't see it, you missed out!!

Pops concert was amazing this week. It was fun to see our East choir combined with all the choirs in the district.

#4: Update from Athletics

Boys Basketball

The 7th and 8th grade teams both got wins this week. It is so fun to watch that Pirate Pride come through. The 7th graders will be playing away on Monday, and the 8th graders will be at home. Come out and support them!!

Cheerleaders take 3rd Place!!!

Our cheerleaders went to a cheer competition in Twin over the weekend and they took 3rd place! And that was with one of their teammates who was out sick. Amazing job girls!!!
