Tomorrow is the last day of Forward testing for our 3rd and 4th graders (next week will be make-up testing). We could not be more proud of them for staying focused and doing their best! Thank you parents for your support as well. We will resume the normal specials and lunch schedule on Monday, April 20th.

With only eight more weeks of school, we wanted to remind you of some upcoming events to add to your calendars...

• May Day Walk (Friday, May 1st, times vary by teacher)

• 4th Grade Spring Concert at Muskego HS PAC, (Wednesday, May 20th, 6:30 - 8:00)
  
• Kindergarten through 3rd Grade Spring Concert (Thursday, May 28th, 9:45am & 2:15pm)
• NO SCHOOL, Friday, May 22nd (Professional Development Day for Staff)
• NO SCHOOL, Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day)
• MV Field Day & Garden Planting Day, Friday, June 5th (details coming soon!)
• 4th Grade Celebration and Ceremony (details shared with 4th grade families)

We have some incredible news to share! For the 10th consecutive year, the Muskego-Norway School District has been recognized by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a Top Workplace.

This year, we ranked in the Top 5 among large organizations. But the honors didn’t stop there, our district was also presented with a special category award for Values. Out of every organization recognized this year, MNS ranked #1 for the statement: "This company operates by strong values."

This recognition is meaningful because it isn’t decided by a committee or an application, it is based entirely on your feedback.

As #1Warrior, this achievement reflects the true strength of our culture. It shows that we remain united in our mission, supportive of one another, and unwavering in our commitment to our students and the community.

An organization is only as strong as the people within it. Thank you to all our staff who shape our future every day and make this district the very best place to work and learn.

Mill Valley staff will be celebrating National Jelly Bean Day on April 22nd, and we’d love your help in making this day extra special for our teachers and support staff. If you are interested in donating, please use the sign-up below and send in items with your child or drop them off in the office anytime before April 22nd. A variety of flavors would be fun!

Please return the permission slip for your student to participate in our annual May Day Walk.

This is a fun activity for the entire school!

The Muskego Lions Club will be conducting vision screening for KG, 1st, and 3rd grade students on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Please make sure your student wears their glasses/contacts on the date of the vision screening. If you do not wish to have your student screened please contact the health office prior to the screening date.

The parents of any student that does not pass this screening will be notified.

If your student does pass this screening you will not be notified directly, but you may certainly call the health office at Mill Valley to confirm. Please allow a reasonable amount of time for processing results before contacting the health office.
