Henrietta Hometown Bulletin

The 2025-26 school year is off to a strong start in Bearcat Country! Our students are working hard in the classroom, and it has been exciting to see so many of them involved in athletics and activities this fall.

We’re proud to see our Bearcats taking part in both school and community events that make Henrietta such a special place. In this month’s newsletter, you’ll find Board Updates, Bond Updates, important upcoming dates, and more. Thank you for staying connected and supporting our students.

Jaime Clark

HISD Superintendent

On June 20, 2025, the Governor of Texas signed Senate Bill 12 (SB 12) into law, which mandates that public school districts, including Henrietta ISD, obtain parental consent before providing certain routine physical or mental health services to students. This law is effective starting September 1, 2025. Action Required: Parents/Guardians are required to provide consent for the following services for the 2025-2026 school year: Health-related services and Counseling services.

To complete this process, please log into your Skyward Family Access account and submit your child’s SB 12 consent form.

This was sent out to all parents two weeks ago, but we only have 25% complete. Without your consent, your child will not be eligible to receive these services. We appreciate your prompt attention to this important requirement and thank you for partnering with us to support the well-being of our students.
