Athletic Information

As a Launch Virtual Academy student (7th-12th), if you live within the boundaries of Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD), you have access to athletic programs including After School athletics.

Launch Virtual Academy high school (9th-12th) students are allowed to participate in sports through their SUHSD school of residency.

Launch Virtual Academy is your home school but if you if you live within the boundaries of SUHSD, you are connected to the SUHSD school closes to your home residence - this is your residency school.

1. Communicate with your residency school's athletic director for tryouts, sport location, and schedule prior to the following steps.
2. Be in good academic standing by having a 2.0 GPA or higher. Please communicate with Launch Virtual Academy ASB Advisor to verify your academic standing.
3. Complete a Physical Exam.
4. Register and complete online the application in HOME CAMPUS. Guidelines HERE.

Note -regarding Physical Exams: Take the Physical Exam Form to your medical provider or you can also find private medical services. An example is South Bay Urgent Care located at 1628 Palm Avenue, San Diego, CA 92154. Phone (619) 591-9999. They charge $40 cash or card.
