The Weekly Update

Monday, 5th: NO SCHOOL/ PD Day

Tuesday, 6th: Regular School Day

Wednesday, 7th: FLEX Schedule/ PSAT Day 1

Thursday, 8th: Regular School Day

Friday, 9th: Picture Retake

Fall conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 20th and Thursday, October 22nd from 2:00pm - 7:30pm. There will be an early dismissal on both days at 1:25pm. Our high school conferences will be limited to 10 minutes each and take place in the teacher’s classroom. More information will be provided on Monday, October 5th when sign ups are available. Please note there will be no school on Friday, October 23rd due to Teacher Professional Development. Also, Books such as 'Oh, the Places You'll Go!' must be brought to Conferences for signatures. We will not circulate them during school.

Parent-Teacher conferences are just around the corner. Please consider signing up to donate food or funds to support our North Polk High School staff. Your generosity helps keep our teachers energized and focused during these long conference evenings. Thank you for your support!

Picture retake day will be held on Friday, October 9th at the beginning of the school day. Please visit the following website to place an order: www.lifetouch.com If your student is having their picture retaken, the original picture packet must be returned on retake day.

Seniors, you can get fund raising credit by volunteering at Center Grover Orchard. Click HERE for the volunteer link.

If your student will be late to school, absent for the day, or leaving school early, please notify the school by emailing highschoolattendance@northpolkorg, calling 515-984-3400, opt 1. or log onto Infinite Campus and submit an "Absence Request". Please be sure to contact the school as soon as possible regarding any attendance or dismissal changes.
