Excuses for Absences

• When your child returns to school, you will have 3 school days to upload an excuse in SKYWARD.
• If it’s a medical appointment, you must have a note from the doctor to upload to SKYWARD.

Late Arrivals:

• If your child arrives after 7:40 a.m., they will be marked tardy. Please escort your child to the front office.
• Having 3 tardies will count as 1 unexcused absence.

Prevent Truancy:

• No more than 10 absences a year.
• After 10 absences, a doctor’s note will be required to excuse an absence.

• Please send a dry snack and a water bottle each day.
• Please have the girls wear shorts/leggings/tights under dresses and skirts.

MAP is the Measure of Academic Progress. It is a computerized test that is given three times a year (beginning, middle, and end). It is read aloud to the students and questions range in difficulty depending on how they are answered.
