Doc Talk
We are closing out Week 2 of Hexter 6, and there is a lot to be proud of already. πͺ
First, congratulations to our students who completed testing this week. Your focus, effort, and perseverance during CMAS, SAT, and PSAT matter. You showed up, put in the work, and represented yourselves and Discovery well. π
Field Experiences Aheadπ§
We have many field experiences coming up this hexter. These are opportunities to learn, connect, and experience education beyond the classroom.
Please remember:
- Permission slips must be turned in to participate. No verbal permissions will be taken.
- When off campus, you are representing Discovery High School and the Phoenix community.
Be mindful of your actions, language, and choices. Represent who we are with pride.
π΅Cell Phone Policy Reminderπ΅
Our cell phone policy remains in effect:
- No cell phone use during class time.
- Use is allowed before/after school, during passing periods, and at lunch, as long as it does not require immediate adult attention.
Focused classrooms lead to stronger outcomes. Stay locked in.π
Attendance Mattersβ
Attendance remains critical, especially in this final stretch of the year.
Every day counts toward:
- Academic progress
- Participation in field experiences
- Finishing the year strong
Be present. Be engaged. Donβt miss opportunities.
Schedule Updatesπ
Please pay close attention to schedule changes over the coming weeks. With testing and field experiences, there will be days with adjusted schedules and early dismissals.
Stay informed and plan ahead.
We are moving quickly through Hexter 6. The finish line is in sight, but how we get there matters.
Stay focused. Represent with pride. Take advantage of every opportunity in front of you.
π₯We are the Phoenix. We rise, represent, and finish strong.π₯
