A Message from Your Principal Team
Dear Washington Families,
It has been wonderful to see the continued growth and learning happening in our classrooms. Our students are working hard each day, and we appreciate the strong partnership we share with our families in supporting their success.
During the week of March 16th, we will be holding Student-Led Conferences. Families are invited to join their child as they share their learning and progress from the school year. Please look for a conference slip from your student’s teacher with your scheduled time.
Our main conference times will be:
Wednesday, March 18th — 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Thursday, March 19th — 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Some teachers may also offer additional times.
Students have been preparing to share their learning with you, and we hope you can join us.
If you need to change your conference time or have questions, please contact your student’s teacher or call the school office at 971-983-3050.
As a reminder, Spring Break will take place March 23–27. There will be no school during this week as students and staff take time to rest and recharge. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing break with family and friends.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and school community. Go Eagles! 🦅
Kind regards,
Alfredo Belanger – Principal
Antonio Ramos – Assistant Principal
What is happening at Washington?
Book fair is here!
It’s that exciting time of year again — the Book Fair is here! 📚 Our amazing librarian, Mrs. Veliz, has organized several opportunities for students and families to visit and find a great new book.
Students can shop at the Book Fair:
• Before school: 7:15 AM – 7:45 AM
• During their scheduled library specials class
• After school with parents: 2:20 PM – 3:30 PM
The Book Fair will also be open during lunches on Monday (March 16th) and Tuesday (March 17th) for students who would still like time to shop.
As always, families are welcome to stop by the Book Fair during conferences next week on Wednesday and Thursday and shop together.
We hope you’ll stop by and explore all the wonderful books available. There is truly something for everyone! Happy reading, Eagles! 🦅📖
