GPA & Class Rank Update

As a reminder, Leander ISD does not have separate parent accounts for Naviance. Students can access Naviance through Launchpad using their single sign-on LISD login credentials.

The district technology office has calculated GPAs for the Classes of 2025, 2026, and 2027 in accordance with the adopted GPA policy for the Class of 2025 and beyond. Please click here for detailed information on the GPA policy.

Your most current GPA & class rank (updated June 2024) can be found in Naviance. Navigate to the "My Account" section (see screenshot below for instructions).

The lowest weighted GPA of students in the top ten percent, the first quartile, the second quartile, and the third quartile shall be communicated to all students in the class after each calculation period. Please view QUARTILE STATEMENT FOR VHS, JUNE 2024 for the GPA breakdown.

**Students in the top 10% will have their rank listed in Naviance in accordance with district policies. Students outside the top 10% do not have a rank and this box will be empty in Naviance.**

To help students and families see the courses included in their student’s weighted GPA calculation, a new report is available in the Home Access Center. A sample report and instructions for accessing the report are included in this guide: English Guide // Spanish Guide

This report will indicate the courses included in the calculation of the weighted GPA with an X in the left column. Only courses included in the approved curriculum categories will be included on this report. For example, high school credits earned in middle school are not included in the calculation of GPA and are omitted from this report.

Students who wish to view their transcript will need to set up a Parchment account and order their transcript to themselves.

IT IS IMPORTANT THE STUDENT CREATE THIS ACCOUNT. Parents/guardians creating accounts on behalf of their student often leads to duplicate accounts that result in future difficulties when students attempt to order transcripts.

Reminder: Transcripts are updated at the completion of each semester, not each cycle.

Vandegrift Counselors are currently off contract and will return to work on July 15th. Questions/emails/voicemails received during the office closure will be returned in the order they are received upon our return.
