Colleyville Heritage Band
Week of September 28
The week of October 5 is when our marching band rehearsal schedule CHANGES! Monday - Tuesday evening, Thursday - Friday morning. See times below!
As we complete our PR2 grade check, we currently have students in the band program who are not eligible to participate because they have one or more grades below the required passing level.
To help students get back on track, students who are currently ineligible will be required to attend PREP on Wednesdays and Thursdays after school until all grades are passing, OR tutorials with their teacher during their specific tutorial times. PREP is an opportunity for students to receive additional time, support, and accountability to get their grades where they need to be. A late bus is available for students who need transportation home.
We will reach out individually on Monday with each student’s specific PREP assignment and expectations. Moving forward, weekly grade reports will be run for all band students. Any student whose grades fall below the passing level will be required to attend PREP until the grades are brought back up.
Our goal is not simply to identify students who are struggling, but to provide the structure and support necessary to help them be successful. We want every student to remain eligible and fully participate in everything the band program has planned this year.
Thank you for your support and for working with us to help our students stay on track academically.

A Message From Our Band Photographer
Good evening returning band parents, and a warm welcome to our new parents! For those who don't know me, I am Nicole Gluck, mom to two band kids: Kaylee, who is a senior this year , and Parker, who is a freshman.
I wanted to introduce myself because I am the band photographer. You and your kids will see me a lot throughout the season with my camera, capturing all the fun and memories! Many of the kids already know me and are not shy about asking for photos with their friends. I am 100% okay with this, as long as it is at an appropriate time and doesn't disrupt practice.
We have a band photo website that I will link at the end of this message. This is where you can view and save any images you want. My photo files will always start with "KMP," which stands for my photography business, K.Madison Photography.
I am so excited for this season and look forward to meeting you and getting to know your kids. I have never seen kids work as hard as band kids do! They are truly amazing, and in no time, those who are new will make friendships that will last a lifetime!
