As we welcome the month of April, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible dedication and resilience of our students, staff, and families. Spring is a season of growth and renewal, and it brings with it many opportunities to reflect, celebrate progress, and prepare for the final stretch of the school year.

April is also a time of important academic milestones. State assessments, spring projects, and end-of-year preparations are in full swing. I encourage our students to stay focused and continue to give their best effort. To our families, thank you for your continued support and encouragement—it makes a world of difference.

We are also excited to celebrate several meaningful observances this month, including National Library Week, Earth Day, and School Volunteer Appreciation Week. These events remind us of the value of literacy, sustainability, and community involvement in enriching our schools and shaping well-rounded students.

As the days grow longer and the weather warms, I hope you’ll take some time to enjoy the outdoors, connect with loved ones, and recharge. Let’s finish this school year strong—together.

Yours in education,

Damon J. Englese, M.Ed.
