Dear Windsong Ranch Elementary Families,

It's the final days to make an impact by donating to our Boosterthon. Please help us reach our $60K goal by getting those donations in today. The last time I checked we were at just over $38,000...wow!!! Every gift brings us closer to supporting our students and programs!

Donโ€™t miss out! Monday is the last day to sign up for a Fast Pass to attend the Windsong Stampede as a spectator. Badges can be picked up at the side door nearest the big playground.

A friendly reminder about bike safety. For everyoneโ€™s safety, students should walk their bikes and scooters while on campus and not ride until they reach the sidewalks, off school grounds (at Copper Canyon and Redstem). Please remind your students to follow this rule to help keep arrival and dismissal safe for all.

Enjoy the long weekend and we'll see you back at the Ranch on Tuesday morning.

Together we Prosper,

Michelle Qualls

โญ Important Notes โญ Important Notes

Important Walker Dismissal Information

We continue to work closely with Prosper ISD PD and the City of Prosper to keep our students and families safe during dismissal. Please be mindful of where you stop or park. Unsafe or illegal parking can create congestion and may result in traffic citations. A few important reminders from the Texas Transportation Code:

  • It is illegal to stop, stand, or park on a crosswalk.

  • You cannot park in front of driveways, within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection, or within 30 feet of a signal, flashing signal, stop, or yield sign.

  • Bicycles may be parked on the sidewalk as long as they do not block pedestrian or other traffic.

Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe and smooth for everyone!

Together We Cultivate

Together we cultivate meaningful connections across our growing school community.

Each week, different Raider athletes join us at morning drop-off to open car doors and welcome students with big smiles! Theyโ€™re helping build connections and model leadership while starting our studentsโ€™ days on a positive note

Together We Champion

Together we champion every studentโ€™s path to excellence through consistent use of the Workshop Model to strengthen Tier 1 instruction, drive growth, and build future-ready learners.

Hands-on learning helps students make deeper connections by turning ideas into action. When students explore, build, experiment, and create, theyโ€™re actively engaged in discovering how things work. This approach strengthens understanding, boosts problem-solving skills, and makes learning memorable and meaningful. Our 5th grade teachers partnered with our Librarian, Mrs. G, to bring circuits to life. Students explored the different parts of a circuit and had to determine what was needed to make a lightbulb turn on, fan blades to move, and a buzzer to buzz.

Named by HEBโ€™s Excellence in Education Awards as the Best Large District in the State of Texas, Prosper ISD has an established 67-year history that is grounded in the humble roots of a farming community, now soaring to the fastest growing school district in Texas, due in no small part to the pursuit of excellence in the arts, academics and athletics. Our students and staff are routinely recognized on the local, state, and national levels for outstanding achievements, and our teachers are highly qualified experts who bring out the best in every student.

ABOUT PROSPER ISD

Prosper ISD is a school district located north of Dallas in Collin and Denton Counties. The district spans approximately 58 square miles and serves more than 32,000 students in 20 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, 4 high schools, and one early childhood school.

๐Ÿซถ THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY FOR SUPPORTING OUR TEACHERS & STUDENTS

In November 2023, an overwhelming majority of voters approved $2.7 billion to continue building excellence in Prosper ISD. Thank you for your continued financial commitment to our district.

And while our facilities are second to none, we know that it is the people who make the difference in Prosper ISD.
