College Tours and Visit Days
One of the biggest decisions college-bound seniors face is where to go to school. An effective, and fun, strategy to help you make that choice is to visit various college campuses. Colleges eagerly welcome you to participate in scheduled college tours. These tours are typically free and many times may just involve you and a guide or possibly a small group. Most colleges book tours and visits through their websites. If you need help with this process, see your counselor. We have some great college choices here in East Tennessee, many of which are within a couple hours' drive. Additionally, remember that you (seniors) get one college visit day allowed to you this school year. That means if you book a tour/visit with a college and it falls on a school day, if you will let Mrs. Parker (main office) know a week ahead and then provide proof of your visit when you return, that visit will not count as an absence. Good to know!
