Key Stage 2 Stars of the Week
Well done to this week's Stars of the Week! You should all be very proud of yourselves.
Attendance
This week's school attendance is 95%.
Whole school attendance so far this year is 94.9%.
Early Years/Key Stage 1 class of the week is All Day Nursey with 100% attendance!
Key Stage 2 class of the week is 5B with 98.6% attendance - well done!
Once more, here is the link to the attendance page of the school website which has information on the Penalty Notice system. Ultimately, more than 2 penalty notices could result in the council taking you to court and a criminal record. We really do not want any of our families to have to go through this.

World Book Day
It was wonderful to see the effort pupils had gone to yesterday to dress up for World Book Day. The day was a success and hopefully has reignited pupils' love of reading. All pupils have received a World Book Day token which can be exchanged for one of the chosen World Book Day books. Most supermarkets will stock these.
Golden Ticket Winners
There was much excitement when the golden ticket winners were announced! Thank you to everyone who supported us by buying a chocolate bar. Thank you also to FOLA for organising this.

Calling All Budding Actors!
There is an exciting participation opportunity for local young performers to audition to join the supporting community cast of a theatre production of The Railway Children.
Whether your child is part of a drama group or trying out acting for the very first time, everyone is welcome! No prior experience is needed—just confidence, enthusiasm and a love for performing.
The production will take place between 16 July to 7 September 2025. The performers won’t be required for every performance, but good availability throughout the run is essential.
