Advanced Foods Brings the Heat to its Food Truck Competition

Mr. Slife’s Advanced Foods class has been busy this semester cooking up business plans and their own recipes in preparation for its Food Truck Competition! The class tasks students with creating a plan for their very own food truck – coming up with menus, business cards, a design for their truck, and most importantly, the food being served. On competition day, each group presents a final dish and business plan to a panel of judges made up of WHS staff and community restaurant owners.

Competition was extremely steep this year! These groups developing the skills to create great food and great businesses. Congratulations to all the students who competed!
