Hello New and Returning Bobier Bronco Families,

The moment we have all been waiting for is almost here! We cannot wait to welcome our Broncos back home to Bobier Elementary on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 12, 2026!

After two years away, it is incredibly exciting to say those words — Welcome Home to the NEW Bobier! Our beautiful new campus is ready, our teachers are preparing their classrooms, and our staff is eagerly preparing to fill this school with learning, laughter, and lots of Bronco spirit!

We had the most wonderful start to our return home with our TK and Kindergarten JumpStart on Tuesday, August 4, and Wednesday, August 5. It was so exciting to see our youngest Broncos exploring their new school, meeting their teachers, and getting comfortable on our beautiful new campus. Over 65 of our Broncos were on campus for JumpStart! Seeing our hallways and classrooms filled with students again was a wonderful reminder that Bobier is truly home. 💙💛

A huge THANK YOU to all of our families who joined us for Bronco Days Registration & Data Confirmation on August 6, 7, and 10. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to welcome new families to our Bobier community. Having our campus filled with students and families again made it really feel like home!

We know there is a lot of excitement — and probably a few questions — as we prepare for this very special first day. We are providing important information below to help everyone get ready for the start of the 2026–2027 school year. Please take a few minutes to review the information carefully.

Our first day is almost here! We are ready. Our campus is ready. And most importantly, our Broncos are ready!

26/27 VUSD Calendar

Just a quick reminder that on the first day of school, parents will say goodbye to their children at the gate upon arrival. Thank you for helping us make the first day a smooth and positive start! We’re so excited to welcome everyone! 💛

Parking & Arrival

Please plan on arriving early during the first week of school. We anticipate heavy traffic as everyone gets familiar with our new campus and arrival procedures. Please allow extra time, be patient, and be kind to one another!

Both our upper and lower parking lots will be open.

• School begins promptly at 8:00 AM.

• Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:40 AM. Please do not drop students off before 7:40 AM, as supervision is not available.

• We recommend arriving between 7:40–7:55 AM so your child has plenty of time to enter campus and be ready to learn.

• On the first day of school, families will say goodbye to students at the gate. Give your Bronco a big hug, a kiss, and a “Have a great first day!” before sending them in.

• Please send a reusable water bottle labeled with your child's name to school each day.

Drop-Off Procedures

Areas marked in green on the map are designated for student drop-off and pick-up only.

• Please stay in your vehicle while in the drop-off/pick-up lane.

• Students should exit the vehicle only from the right side.

• The single lane will split into two lanes along the front of the school.

• Pull all the way forward to keep traffic moving.

• The right lane is for student drop-off.

• The left lane is for exiting the parking lot.

Street Parking

Pay attention to signage on streets before parking, and please be respectful of our neighbors.

Do not block driveways, intersections, or the roadway.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and patience as we establish our new arrival and dismissal routines.

Afternoon Dismissal & Pick-Up

Students will be dismissed from different locations based on grade level:

Upper Parking Lot

• TK

• Kindergarten

• 1st Grade

• 2nd Grade

• 3rd Grade

Lower Parking Lot

• 4th Grade

• 5th Grade

• All MSP classes (Armatas, Torres, Peshek, Vander Meulen)

Students in 4th and 5th grade will wait along the ramp and watch for their car. Please be patient, calm, and alert as students are safely matched with their families.

TK/Kindergarten Early Dismissal:

• Monday: 12:52 PM

• Tuesday–Friday: 2:10 PM

Early Pick-Up

Please avoid signing out your child during the last 30 minutes of the school day, unless they have a scheduled doctor's appointment. This is a critical time for teachers to provide final instructions and reminders while staff prepares for dismissal.

Students must be picked up no later than:

• Monday: 1:20 PM

• Tuesday–Friday: 2:38 PM

Staff supervision concludes at these times.

Our office staff is ready to assist you during our regular office hours. Please note that the office will temporarily close to visitors during student arrival and dismissal so that our staff can assist with safely welcoming students to campus and getting everyone home safely.

Arrival: 7:30–8:00 AM
Monday Dismissal: 12:45–1:15 PM
Tuesday–Friday Dismissal: 2:05–2:30 PM

During these brief periods, our office will still be reachable by phone, but in-person office services will be temporarily unavailable. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safe arrival and dismissal of all of our Broncos.

Aeries Data Confirmation

Thank you to all of our families who have completed their student's data confirmation through the Aeries Parent Portal for the 2026–2027 school year!

If you have not yet completed this process, our office will be reaching out to you directly. It is extremely important that every family completes data confirmation as soon as possible. This information ensures that we have accurate contact information and the required documentation for your student.

Please remember to log into your parent portal throughout the year if you need to make any updates to your emergency contacts throughout the year. Anyone picking up a student must be on the student's emergency contact list, must show a valid government ID to the office staff, and parents/guardians must contact the office in advance if an emergency contact is picking up/checking out.

Bobier Elementary has before and after-school care for students through AM-PM Comprehensive Program. Space is limited.

Once you submit an application, you will be contacted if your child is offered a spot in the program. Once offered a spot, additional steps must be completed in a timely manner to finalize enrollment.

Both breakfast and lunch are offered at no charge to every student at every VUSD school. We encourage every student to take advantage of these meals and ensure that they are fueled for learning and growing every day.
