Early Learning Updates
2025-2026

Dear Early Childhood Families,
Spring is in the air, and April is shaping up to be an incredibly busy and joyful month. We have several wonderful ways for you to connect with the community and celebrate the importance of early childhood. This month we celebrate National Week of the Young Child, April 11-17. It is a week to
recognize the importance of young children, their teachers, families, and communities. We are celebrating in various ways throughout the week in Preschool and ECFE. We also have a few additional opportunities for families, including Springtime @ The LeVande, a free event of singing and activities with the residents who live there. We also have a One Year Old Birthday Party for those who are about to, or have recently turned one. More information on these events is below.
Coming up later this month are Preschool Information Nights. These evenings are designed for families who want to learn more about Cambridge-Isanti Preschool. If you, or someone you know is interested in learning more, please make plans to join us!

Good to Know
School Closures
In the event of inclement weather, informaton on class cancellations will be on local media, as well as on our website. If a 2 hour late start is implemented, then morning half day preschool and morning ECFE classes would be cancelled. Preschool families should watch for communication from your child's teacher regarding a plan for the day. Per our handbook (page 10), tuition is not discounted for weather related closings.
Is your child well enough to be in school?
Keep your child home if he/she has any of the following:
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Fever of 100.0 degrees or more
Injury causing inability to function due to pain or impairment
It is also our school district policy that a student is not to return to school until he/she is:
Fever-free for 24 hours, without use of fever-reducing medications
Vomiting or diarrhea free for 24 hours
Both sites please call 763-691-6693
Arrival and Dismissal Reminders
We know mornings can be busy, and we appreciate your efforts to get your child to school each day. Please make every effort to arrive on time, as late drop-offs disrupt classroom routines.
Timely pick-up is also important, as staff have scheduled duties and meetings immediately after dismissal. Late pick-up fees, as outlined in the Family Handbook, are now being applied.
Thank you for helping us maintain smooth, consistent routines for children and staff.
Printing Child Care Tax Statements Online
If you have paid for child care or preschool in the past calendar year, Eleyo provides a Tax Statement report for each program you have enrolled in and made payments for. These statements can be downloaded from your account Dashboard and will become available after January 1st of each year.
You can view this article for detailed instructions.
