CRUSADER CONNECTION

What a fall it has been! It is hard to believe that we are a third of the way through this school year already. RIA continues to be a very busy place and full of so many wonderful opportunities for our students. At this time we want to send a huge THANK YOU for your continued support throughout this school year. Our school community has supported every event we have put forth, and for that we send our sincere gratitude.

December will certainly be a busy month! We have a full schedule planned up to the last day! Only 13 school days left! Come out to our Christmas Assembly on the last day of school, December 20th, for a beautiful send off into the Holiday Season! We return back to school on January 2nd. Our next newsletter will be sent out January 5th.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

As we approach the winter season, we want to remind families that school closures will be a more frequent occurrence. Please ensure that you have an emergency closure plan in place and that your child is aware of the plan in the event school closes early. All students in K-6 must have an emergency closure form completed on Rycor. If you have not completed this form, please do so asap.

Our primary source of communication for closures will be school messenger. Please make sure we have your correct contact information on file.

K-6 students go outside daily. It is encouraged that they have winter clothes in school. Such items include, snow pants & jacket, hat, mitts, boots etc.

There are many days where school will be open for just the afternoon session. Regular classes still occur when school is open for these half days. Please ensure that your child attends these afternoon sessions.

Happening Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm

Ages: Kinderstart - Grade 3

Last session before Christmas: December 8th. We will start up again on January 10th.

Thursdays from 3:00-4:15pm

Ages: Grades 4-6

Academics and attendance during regular school hours is of utmost importance. At this time we would like to remind everyone that in order for students to attend extracurricular events (concerts, field trips, tournaments, dances etc.) they must have attended school the day of the event. If a student is absent during that time, the absence needs to be valid and excusable (medical appointments, etc.). We are a school that has a lot of wonderful events, your continued cooperation with this is greatly appreciated.

This year we are trying something new! We are having a Christmas Assembly hosted by our Grades K, 2 & 5/6 Classes! This is open to the public! Time: 11:05am.

Students will be dismissed December 20th at 12:30pm

Report cards went home today!

Call the office from December 4-6th to book appointments.

Interviews: December 7th

Times: 1:00-4:00; 5:00-7:00pm

Students Dismissed at 12:05pm.
