FHS May Update

Dear Families,

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final stretch of the school year! May is always a busy and exciting time in our building, filled with performances, competitions, celebrations, and of course, preparations for graduation.

I’ve been so impressed by the hard work and growth our students have shown this year. As we head toward the finish line, we encourage everyone to stay focused, keep up the momentum, and finish strong. There are still many opportunities ahead to learn, connect, and make great memories.

We’re especially looking forward to celebrating our seniors in the coming weeks, what an incredible group of students they are!

Senior Awards Night is Wednesday, May 6, at 7pm in the FHS Auditorium. Letters were mailed home at the end of last week to Seniors who are receiving an award. Any Senior receiving an award needs to arrive in the FHS Commons at 6:45pm. Students are encouraged to wear business casual attire.

May 13 - Senior grades submitted

May 14 - Seniors' last day of class

May 15 - Senior Breakfast, Graduation Walk, Graduation Rehearsal, Handprints with Kindergartners, Senior Lunch

• 8am - Senior Breakfast (Caps and gowns distributed at this time)
• 9am - Graduation Walk
• 10am - Graduation Rehearsal
• 11:15 - Handprints w/Kindergartners
• 12pm - Senior Lunch

May 17 - Commencement at 2pm at the FHS Stadium, Seniors need to arrive at 1:15pm

8th grade students will be attending FHS the afternoon of Monday, May 18. FHS students will follow a special schedule this day, and students not attending the event will be dismissed after lunch. Any student who would like to stay may do so and will be in the auditorium. Schedule for that day will be released in the next week.

We’re excited to introduce our very first Student Community Service Day alongside the return of Trojanpalooza! Students will spend the morning out in the community participating in a variety of service projects, making a meaningful impact while representing our school with pride.

When we return to campus, we’ll kick off our second annual Trojanpalooza. The afternoon will be filled with fun activities, games, and time to relax and connect with friends. Lunch will be provided for all students, making it a full day of service, celebration, and school spirit.

We’re looking forward to a memorable day that brings together giving back and celebrating as a school community!

Our last day for student attendance is Friday, May 29! It will here before we know it! Students will be dismissed at noon.
