Growing Together
A Note from your Principal
February is a month full of fun and learning, especially focused on the pillar of Caring and Random Acts of Kindness week. We will also learn daily about the state of Florida theme for Black History Month, “Honoring African American Contributions to Florida’s Success" as well as have a guest speaker later in the month. I am truly looking forward to continuing our educational journey with you as we begin a new month!
With gratitude,
Dr. Judd

Weekly Tidbits- Week of 1/6
Today is Make a Difference Monday- You can make a difference by volunteering in our community. Several opportunities are on the announcement slides: Arts Fest, Seawind Elementary Treasure Coast Night to Shine
Today is Take Care Tuesday- Now that the weather is back to sunny and cool here are some self care tips for this beautiful weather:
Get outside and soak up the sun! This weather is perfect for a walk or just a few minutes to get some nature and vitamin D. Fresh air cleans your lungs, boosts your mood, lowers your heart rate, and increases energy levels. Take lunch outside.
Start a garden. Getting your hands dirty can be relaxing and cleansing for the mind. If a green thumb isn’t your thing, succulent or faux plants are easy to maintain!
Start with a clean slate. A change in season/weather can be a great time for cleaning, re-organizing, decluttering, or donating items that you no longer need.
Today is Way to Go Wednesday - Way to go Carter Scott for being a welcoming presence here at Clark! Your kind and thoughtful interactions are SO appreciated!
Today is Think about it Thursday-
Think about who you choose to spend time with. Choosing friends carefully is important because the people you hang out with can influence who you become. Good friends support you, challenge you to grow, and help you stay true to your values. On the other hand, the wrong friends can lead you down paths that aren't good for you. So, take your time, trust your instincts, and surround yourself with people who lift you up and respect who you are.
Today is Fun Fact Friday- On this day in 1988, Doug Williams became the first Black quarterback to play in the Super Bowl. Williams led the then Washington Redskins to victory against the Denver Broncos and was named the Super Bowl MVP.
