- Costumes should not hinder your ability to participate in classes or hinder your ability to move through the hallways in a safe manner (blow up costumes).
- Fake (or real) weapons are not allowed.
- Make-up, hairspray/coloring, or glitter must be applied on before coming to school. These products are NOT allowed to be applied in the school restrooms, hallways or classrooms.

Attendance Policy
Why is our attendance policy changing?
Chronic absenteeism is a growing concern across Michigan, and improving student attendance has become an important focus for school districts throughout the state. In partnership with Gratiot-Isabella RESD (GIRESD), our district has updated its attendance policy to create clearer and more consistent expectations for students and families.
This year, we will also be sharing Strive for 5 information with families, encouraging students to strive for five or fewer absences during the school year whenever possible. Our goal is not simply to track absences—it is to work together with families to help students be present, stay connected, and succeed.
