2025 Summer Reading and Math Resources for Students
⛵ Why Summer Learning?
🌞The learning always continues in ACS!
In fact, the summer is a GREAT time for students to sharpen and practice skills using the knowledge they gained during the previous school year. Students who participate in educational activities over the summer will be better prepared for school in August.
We have gathered Reading and Math resources for each grade level and put them all below. These resources include summer reading lists, literacy activities, math practice, and much more. Be sure to take advantage of the summer learning opportunities provided below to stay ahead of the curve!

💬 Review High Frequency Words
Review High Frequency Words - Writing reinforces the phoneme (sound) - grapheme (letter) correspondence. Ask your child how to arm tap “red” words! Practice writing these words with high friction experiences (Ex: sidewalk chalk, crayon rubbings over bumpy material, trace dried glitter glue, etc.) See this link for more examples
