Meet The Teacher

Hello Eaglet families!!

My name is Krystal Elder, and I will be the lead teacher in your child's classroom this year! I can't wait to meet our new students and reconnect with our returning Eaglets!

I am passionate about teaching young minds and providing engaging opportunities for learning and healthy development. My teaching style includes giving students ample opportunity for hands on experiences and making real world connections. I strive to foster an environment where the child can know and be known through developing strong interpersonal relationships within the classroom with peers, teachers and administration.

I look forward to watching your young scientist, mathematician or writer grow and explore their world.

Our Returning Team!

I am so excited that Sarah has returned as the teacher assistant in the Eaglet classroom this year! We are going to have a blast continuing to get to know each other and further build our community!

Things to Remember...

Please send your child to school with a water bottle, hearty lunch and snack. We will be moving a lot through our woods the first week of school as we get to know our environment. It's always good to be on the safe side and pack a bit extra to keep up their energy.

Please remember to bring their school supplies that went out via e-mail a few weeks ago.

The mornings can be a bit chilly, so it is a good idea to pack a second layer (sweatshirt, long sleeve...etc) in case they need it.

Always make sure your kiddo has a second change of clothes (pants, shirt, socks, undies...etc).

You may want to pack some sun block and bug spray- kids must be able to apply it themselves.

Indoor shoes for your child to wear while we are inside of our classroom.

I believe that clear, open communication is imperative to a healthy school-home relationship. I will be available after school by phone or e-mail until 3:30. You can expect to see the fun and exciting activities we embark on via our newsletter. Be on the lookout for your child's school-home folder, it should travel to and from school with them weekly.
