West Point El. Parent Update
Week of May 11, 2025
Dear West Point Families,
We hope you and your families are enjoying a Happy Mother's Day!
We would like to thank our PTA and families for all the love you showed our staff this past week. Thank you for making them feel Wicked-ly awesome!
Here are three important things to know for the coming week.
- Excellence Projects:
- Parents are invited to come view the Excellence Projects this Tuesday, May 13 from 4:00-6:30 p.m.
- All projects will be sent home on Wednesday, May 14.
- If your student has a digital presentation, please make sure it has been uploaded to the class link right away. Teachers should have sent those links to you. Please email them if you do not have it
2. Field Day:
- Permission Slips have been sent home. Please be sure to sign the permission slip and return it to your child's teacher right away. Students cannot participate in Field Day if permission slips are not signed.
- The PTA only needs a few more parent volunteers to help with Field Day. Please use this link to sign up to help with an a.m. or p.m. shift if you are available to do so. Thank you to all who have already signed up to help! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094EAEAA29A3F8C52-56447221-field

Kindergarten Fun
Bubble Party
Kindergarten students filled up their paw sticker charts and earned a fun bubble party as a reward for great behavior.
Kindergarten Program
Thank you to our kindergarten teachers for putting together such a fun kindergarten program. Our kindergarten students did a beautiful job singing. It was a fun way to celebrate the end of their kindergarten year!
Experience the Magic
Sweet Celebration Behavior Party
Magical Manners
We are going revisiting some of our favorite manners for the remainder of the year. This week's manner is "Lend a Hand." This manner helps us show others we care about them and gives us a good feeling inside, too.

Attendance Adds Up
Please be aware of your students' attendance and help them to be at school every day. We understand that students who are sick need to be home. However, missing a day of school here and there adds up quickly and puts students behind. Thank you for your support!
