Hello Navigators,

I was exciting to award so many students as our Leaders of the Month. We also acknowledged students with the most improved attendance as well as classrooms with the best attendance. Each week we also announce our Leaders of the Week. Encourage your child to do their very best and be a leader for the school.

Our STEM lab is collecting empty paper towel and wrapping paper rolls. If you can save those over the next few weeks and turn them into the office that would be so helpful.

We are looking forward to a great week.

Nichols is a Leader in Me School. For the month of October we will emphasize Habit 2 - Put first things first. Check out this resource about ways to support the habit at home.

The BASE PROGRAM provides Before & After School care. If you are interested in enrolling your Child, please contact them through their website.

We are so thrilled with out STEAM program. STEAM stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We have Ms. Pauels who teaches the STEM parts of STEAM and Ms. Harmon who teaches Art. Check out the STEAM Newsletter for the latest information.

Oceanside Unified School District has partnered with Care Solace to help families in need of mental health support. This services can help quickly find available services. We know there are times when issues come up that need to be resolved. OUSD has created a chain of communication that allows for an efficient resolution process. This is now located on our school’s website under “Our School” called Chain of Communication.
