A Note from Ms. Hernandez
Dear Palominos Families, & Supporters!
At Pink Elementary, we believe in celebrating our successes while also being transparent about where we have opportunities to grow. Our 2026 TEA Accountability results give us a lot to celebrate โ and a clear direction for the work ahead.
ACCOUNTABILITY UPDATE โ T.L. Pink Elementary ๐
Pink Elementary earned an overall B rating with a score of 85! Even more exciting is what the data tells us about the progress our students are making. Our students are GROWING!
๐ OUR WINS:
- ๐ 2 Distinction Designations!
- Academic Achievement in Mathematics
- Postsecondary Readiness
- School Progress: B / 88
- Academic Growth: B / 83
- Relative Performance: B / 88
๐ฏ WHERE WE'RE FOCUSED
While we celebrate our growth, our greatest opportunities remain in Student Achievement and Closing the Gaps. Our focus is on moving more students from making progress to meeting and mastering grade-level expectations. Our focus remains on strengthening Tier One instruction, using student data to respond quickly when students need additional support, providing targeted intervention and enrichment, & ensuring that every student experiences rigorous, grade-level instruction every day.
๐ THE BIG PICTURE
The data tells an important story about Pink Elementary:
We are closing gaps, but there is still work to do.
- We are demonstrating strength in Mathematics and Postsecondary Readiness.
- We are focused and determined to make the move from a B to an A.
Our goal isn't simply a letter grade. It is ensuring that EVERY Palomino is learning, growing, and achieving.
๐๐ค LIGHTS. CAMERA. EXCELLENCE.
We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for the teachers, staff, families, and community members who support them each day. Maintaining a B gives us something to celebrate โ but it also gives us something to chase. The work has already begun.
At Pink Elementary, we will continue to Expect Excellence. Achieve Greatness. because our Palominos are capable of extraordinary things.
With Palominos Pride,
M. Hernandez
