HRE Embraces Spring
After a busy few weeks of school prior to March Break, and a lovely Easter weekend, we are ready to spend more time outside. April will bring the Battle of the Books district finals, the start of cross-country running, Track and Field Practices, and the rehearsals for our Primary Spring Concert just to name a few upcoming activities. We wish everyone a wonderful final term to the school year!

This is a wonderful opportunity to gain a better understanding of your child's progress at school and to celebrate their growth and achievements this school year. Please monitor the communication from your classroom teacher to learn about the structure of these conversations along with the times available for your visit. We hope to see you then!

PAC Hot Lunch Update
The last Hot Lunch date for this school year is April 30. I'd like to take this opportunity to shout out to all parents who have contributed their time to volunteer - we cannot run hot lunch without you!
Also, many thanks to our students and lunch time monitors who took the responsibility to distribute hot lunches. Lastly, thank you to our Teachers, CEAs and Administrative Staff for their continued support of our many school programs including Hot Lunch.
We will be looking for Hot Lunch Coordinators for 2026-2027 term. Please email us at HRE.hotlunch@gmail.com if you are interested in helping us.

HRE PAC Hot Lunch Program
Reminder: Student Learning Survey - Invitation to Grade 4 Parents
The Student Learning Survey is for students in Grades 4, 7, 10, 11, and 12, their parents, staff and administrators. The Student Learning Survey provides important insight into the lived experiences of our learners. The results help schools and the district better understand students’ sense of identity, belonging, engagement, and learning, and they inform school planning and our ongoing work to improve learning experiences for all students. The survey is open until May 1. While Grade 4 students will complete their version of the survey at school, Grade 4 parents are asked to please refer to the email sent out by HRE on March 3. We appreciate your participation.
