Celebrating a Great Year at JCISD
This will be our final district newsletter for the 2025–2026 school year. As we wrap up another great year at Johnson City ISD, I want to thank our students, staff, parents, and community for the support and dedication that made this year such a success. We are proud of all that our Eagles have accomplished both inside and outside the classroom. I would also like to invite everyone to attend the LBJ High School graduation ceremony on May 22nd at 8:00 p.m. on Eagle Field as we celebrate the Class of 2026. We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer, and we look forward to reconnecting with you in August through our Back to School newsletter.

Community Day of Service
On May 13th, Johnson City ISD partnered with the City of Johnson City for a Community Day of Service that brought students, staff, and community members together to complete projects throughout the community. Students from LBJ Middle School and LBJ High School volunteered at various locations around town, assisting with beautification efforts, clean up projects, and other service activities designed to give back to the community that continually supports JCISD and its students.
Elementary students also participated in age appropriate service projects, making the event a districtwide effort focused on teamwork, leadership, and community pride. The Community Day of Service highlighted the strong partnership between JCISD and the City of Johnson City while teaching students the value of serving others and making a positive impact in their community.

Online Registration for 2026-2027 School Year
Returning student online registration is now live! Please log into the Parent Portal (click here) to begin your student’s registration. Students must be re-enrolled each year. Since the year is not over, any standard form linked to registration will still show the grade a student is in right now. If there are no changes to your child's information the entire process should take less than 5 minutes per student. If you have changes, it may take a few minutes longer, but not much. Mrs. Walker has included a link to a TIP Sheet showing screenshots which might be helpful. As always, if you need additional help, please reach out to the secretary at your child's campus.
