ACT for Juniors: March 19th ACT for Juniors: March 19th

Dear Junior Students, Parents, & Guardians,

Each Junior student enrolled in SFHS is already registered to take the ACT test. Students will need to arrive at 7:40 AM on test day with their charged and updated Chromebook/charger, a photo ID, #2 pencil for scratch work, and a calculator if wanted. There will be a calculator available on the testing software during the Math section if interested, but the school WILL NOT provide calculators. Testing will begin promptly at 7:50 AM. Room assignments will be posted by March 12th.

There is a 'non-test information' part of the ACT to complete, but it is not required. This allows ACT to collect helpful data, and provides students with the opportunity to send their scores to different colleges/universities for free. We will use our History classes to complete this task. If a student does not have a current History class, this information can be given to them to complete on their own. If you need that information, please pick it up at the front office.

The ACT test will be administered on a Chromebook. If you would like to take a tutorial of the TestNav software, take practice tests, or view other helpful ACT resources, follow the links below. You do not need to login to the practice test site, just click on the practice test option.

Electronics of any kind will not be permitted on test day. This includes cell phones, smart watches, and fitness bands. We encourage all of our students to get a good night's rest before the test and eat a wholesome breakfast that morning. Breakfast and lunch will be served at the school on test day. There will also be snacks available during the break. Bus transportation is available to our students who qualify for a bus. Regular morning bus routes will run. There will be a bus available to take students home at 1:00pm. For regular testing, students will be finished about 11:30am. So, if you don’t want to wait for the bus, be sure to arrange other transportation home.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Christensen at jaime.christensen@nebo.edu

Good luck to our Juniors!
