Hello Sunbeam Families!! Hope you're having a great week!

Quick reminder to update your child's change of clothes in their backpacks to reflect the colder temps.

In Music and Chapel class, we met our Composer of the Month: John Phillip Sousa and listened to his "Thunderer" performed by the Marine Corps Band in celebration of Veteran's Day. We are so grateful to our Veterans and their families for their service to our country. We've been discussing how God puts people in our lives to keep us safe: Moses' sister Miriam watched over him, God sent Moses to free the Israelites from Pharoah and ultimately sent Jesus to save us all! Similarly, we have our teachers and big people to keep us safe at school and at home! Our brave Veterans keep our country safe, what a blessing!!

November Lunch Bunch and Enrichment links are posted below. Art is full but we have openings in STEM and Creative Movement. December Lunch Bunch and Enrichment sign ups will be posted on Brightwheel on Tuesday, November 18th at 6:30pm.

On November 24th and 25th, we'll enjoy Thanksgiving Special Chapel and our Friendship Feasts. Big People, siblings and guests are invited to join us in Asbury Hall for a deconstructed Thanksgiving Feast immediately following Special Chapel. We will also make Christmas cards for deployed service members and LUMC's homebound members. Our 2025 GBP Commemorative ornaments will be available for purchase at the Feast as well! Please see the sign ups below for more information.

We have a couple openings in our 3s and 4s classes. If you know of you anyone looking for a preschool family, send them our way! We also have a couple openings in our Friday Enrichment class. Friday Frogs is open to current Bees and Owls (4s) and T/TH 3s. The class meets every Friday from 9am-12pm and is STEM based. Contact Ms. Heather to sign up or for more information.

Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.

-2s and 3s pick up: 11:50am-12pm

-4s and siblings pick up: 12-12:15pm

Please drop your children off in their classroom as usual on your Special Chapel day and head up to the Sanctuary. We will bring the children up at 9:15am.

October and November birthdays will be celebrated during Thanksgiving Special Chapel. Our Sunbeams have been working on songs to share with you as well as our Bible verse.

Our Friendship Feasts will immediately follow Special Chapel. Children are welcome to leave with their big people after the Feast or stay with us for the reminder of day/Lunch Bunch.
