The Weekly Update #4
April 1st, 2025
LEAVE IT BETTER THAN YOU SEE IT
WEEK 29
This week was our welcome back from Spring Break week!! Everyone came back well rested and ready to go. It has been a busy week here at RCHS. Play practice continues with Mrs. Lemmons and the cast. From what I have seen and heard we are all in for a big treat this year with the spring play. This week I watched the Fire and Rescue class free themselves from entrapment, listened to some speeches for our most advanced students, and seen a lot of cross curriculum instruction. Our staff is completely dedicated to the education of the students in this community. It is a pleasure every time I walk into any classroom. Everyone have a great weekend and hang in there IT'S ALMOST MONDAY!!!

It was an honor to have RCHS Alum Katie Thoman back in the building this week. She was here to give a presentation to students interested in the Public Relations and Marketing Field. She also discussed with students the process of getting into college. Thank you Katie for bringing your knowledge in this area and sharing it with the students!

GREATNESS IN THE CLASSROOM
ADVANCED SPEECH
I had the pleasure of watching some of our kids do their speeches in Ms. Teague's Dual Credit Speech Class this week. These kids did an amazing job taking on some controversial topics. I loved hearing foreign exchange student John Rigotto talk about free college and the benefits it would have on this country.
FIRE AND RESCUE
This week the Fire and Rescue class working on entrapment drills. Kids were taught how to escape when they are caught up in something during a fire. It was entertaining to watch these kids but they take everything in this class seriously!
