Blue Rapids Elementary
It's all blue skies in Blue Rapids
It was a great week at Blue Rapids Elementary! The students did an outstanding job with their end of the year program. Thank you Mrs. Popejoy for all your hard work, the students sounded great. After the music program we recognized the 6th grade students. I am just so proud of them all. I want to give a shout out to Mrs. Hardin who is retiring this year after 32 years of service to Valley Heights schools. I also want to thank Cheryl Raplh who is retiring after 31 years as a school cook in the district. We also recognize and thank Mrs. Reinecke and Mrs. Schroller for all they have done for the students and staff at Valley Heights. Both are moving on to new adventures in their careers. We will definitely miss all of these amazing educators. As we close this year out, I want to thank the community, parents, teachers and staff for an amazing year. We are all so blessed to have such an amazing school. I wish everyone a safe and relaxing summer and look forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces in the fall.
As always, thank you for the privilege and blessing that it is to work with your children. My door is always open if you have any concerns or you need to visit.

Thank you Mrs. Reinecke, Mrs. Schroller & Mrs. Pralle
Blue Rapids Elementary school would like to thank three amazing educators. Mrs. Reinecke has been an amazing 4th grade teacher for the past five years. Her enthusiasm and passion for teaching and her students have made a lasting impact on her students and the staff at Blue Rapids. Mrs. Schroller was only here for one year, but she has done a great job of passing on a passion for music and helping to improve our band program in the building. Mrs. Pralle has been an amazing paraprofessional for seven and a half years. Her care and concern for the students and all her hard work to help each of them be successful will be greatly missed. Thank you all, we wish you all the best in your new adventures.
