Help Set Wildwood’s Direction for Next Year! (1 Quick Question)
Our School Site Council is preparing to launch our first annual schoolwide survey, and before we do, we need your help focusing on what matters most.
We’re asking just one important question:
👉 Which areas should be Wildwood’s highest priorities next year? (Select up to 3.)
Your choices — from Academic Rigor and Academic Support to Student Emotional Well-Being, Campus Safety, Family Engagement, Communication, Enrichment, Homework Expectations, or another idea — will directly shape what we study, measure, and improve.
Your participation will take less than a minute, but your input will guide real decisions for the 2026–2027 school year.
Every family. Every voice. Every Tiger matters.
Wildwood Enrollment Projection Form
In order to properly plan classes and staffing for the 2026-2027 school year, we are requesting that ALL families who currently have a child attending Wildwood Elementary please complete THIS FORM. If you have more than 1 child currently attending Wildwood, please complete a separate form for each child. This form should take less than 1 minute to complete.
Families of 5th grade students do NOT need to complete this form for your 5th grade student because we are already aware that they will be moving on.
Short-Term Independent Study (STIS) Update
Short-Term Independent Study (STIS) will end at Spring Break. In accordance with district guidelines, elementary schools will NOT offer STIS beginning April 13 through the end of this school year.
If your child will be absent after Spring Break, please report the absence to the attendance line as usual. We kindly ask families to plan vacations and trips outside of school days whenever possible.
Please contact the front office if you have any questions.

Wildwood Volunteers - We are LUCKY to have your support!
Help Us Retain Our Crossing Guard – Walk or Ride to School!
We have been informed that the City of Thousand Oaks annual school crosswalk pedestrian counts began on Tuesday, February 24. They will be monitoring our Arboles/Velarde crosswalk usage in late-February and early-March to assess the need for crossing guards in future school years. To ensure we meet the required threshold during the count, we encourage as many students as possible to walk, bike, or ride scooters to school and utilize this crosswalk during this period.
Your participation helps demonstrate the importance of maintaining safe routes to school for our students. Thank you for your support in keeping our community safe and thriving!
Seniors and Grandparents Welcome at Wildwood
Do you have a parent, grandparent, or special adult in your family who enjoys working with kids and getting a little creative? We’d love their help with our CREATE Program! Every Wednesday during first recess, students have the option to visit the MPR to design and build with recycled materials—and we’re looking for a few friendly volunteers to assist with simple cutting, taping, and lots of encouragement. Volunteers are needed from 9:15a.m.–10:45 a.m. every Wednesday. If you know a grandparent or senior citizen in our community who might enjoy being part of this joyful, hands-on experience, please pass along the invitation and contact the school for more information.
🎊 One Day. Almost All the Holidays! March Spirit Day
Get ready to celebrate in style! On March 27, students and staff are invited to dress up in their favorite holiday-inspired outfits—think cozy winter cheer ❄️, festive Valentine’s flair ❤️, patriotic pride USA, St. Patrick’s Day green 🍀, or any holiday you love!
Please note: Halloween costumes will not be part of this Spirit Day. We’re looking forward to creative, holiday-themed outfits that are fun, festive, and school-appropriate (no Halloween costumes or inflatables).
Have fun planning, get creative, and let your holiday spirit shine. We can’t wait to see Wildwood filled with celebration all in one day! 🎈
