Ivy Stockwell Veterans Day Celebration
Ivy Stockwell Elementary is excited to honor the brave men and women who have served our country during our annual Veterans Day Celebration. We will recognize our veterans with a Veterans Day Parade and a Wall of Honor featuring photos of veterans who are family members or loved ones of our students.

We look forward to coming together as a school community to recognize and celebrate the veterans who have served our nation!
Wall of Honor
Families are invited to submit photos of veterans who are family members or loved ones to be featured on our Veterans Wall of Honor. Photos may be submitted in printed or digital format.
Photos will be proudly displayed at school for students and families to see. They may also be featured during our school’s daily Morning Message as we recognize and celebrate our veterans leading up to Veterans Day.
When submitting a photo, please include:
● Veteran’s name
● Branch of military service, if known
● Relationship to the student
● Student’s name and grade
Photo Submissions and Questions
Please email digital photos and the requested information by Monday, November 2nd to: amanda.senna@tsd.org (Families may also email Amanda with any questions about the celebration, photo submissions, or Wall of Honor.)
We are grateful for the courage, sacrifice, and service of our veterans. We look forward to celebrating them with our Ivy Stockwell community.
Picture Retake Day - Friday, November 6th
Picture Retake Day is coming up on Friday, November 6th! If your student was absent for picture day in September, they will automatically be added to our "retake list". If you are wanting your child to get picture retakes, please let Katie know at Katie.Charboneau@tsd.org. (If you have already ordered a picture package - but would like retakes - please send your student to school with their picture package to return on retake day.)
We must have a request from parents for picture retake day participation. (This helps us to avoid the confusion of many, many students deciding that they want their picture taken that day "just because".) Thank you so much for your help with this process!

Building Project Update: Changes to Kinder Pickup Area
As our building construction continues, additional fencing will be installed by the end of October near the Kindergarten alcove, which will reduce the space available for drop off and pick up.
Drop-off: Normal procedures remain unchanged.
Pickup: Space will be a bit tight, so line-up locations will adjust slightly:
Mrs. Clegern's Class: Students will line up along the outside wall, down the ramp.
Mrs. Brayfield’s Class: Students will dismiss inside the covered alcove area.
This is our initial plan to ensure a safe, organized dismissal in the smaller space. Thank you for your patience as we test this out and make adjustments as needed!
